Sky islands are floating pieces of (oftentimes seemingly rocky) geography that metaverse builders often like to use. ShapeShifter 2016 has two of these. The first one consists of two islets that are connected with a rocky bridge.

The first of these holds a small discrete space called Curio which is made out of steampunk imagery.

The second islet holds a silver garden of trees and shrubs that are constructed out of tubes, cones and spheres.

The climate at this level is made out of a somewhat scary, blood infused, dark sky that sheds a very stark light on what is here to be wandered around in.
